Frequently asked questions - Difference 

• How is FlockWorks different than a landscape company? 
  Although lots of companies who do (basically) the same thing with goats that we do use the term "goatscaping", we avoid that word because it implies (to many people) that when the goats are brought in and gone though a managment area, it will look "landscaped".  That is not the case... at least not on the first pass.   We truly believe the long-term results are superior using goats to using a landscape crew in overgrown settings, but how people measure and value outcomes varies.   
• What makes FlockWorks different from other goat rental companies?
  We keep our goats on moving pasture year-round and our goats have been trained to eat what is available. They live, become pregnant, deliver and lactate all in pasture/browse settings without any other input except minerals.
• 
  Our goats live within electric net fencing year-round. They are fully acclimated to it and trained to it. It is unbelievably rare that we would have a goat escape! When deer crash through fencing and flatten it because it was erected in paths that they travel, the goats generally just look at it.
  
  We use monitoring technology for the fence and power system. We have other tools for remote management of the herds. 
  
  We offer (although less available as FlockWorks gets busier) a unique two-stage grazing system (Goat Pro) for growing season jobs. This equals the chance for a more thorough clearing, while still maintaining healthy goats! This option is really only practical for certain uncommon managment goals.
